need Information on C-47

A C-47 was lost over the Owen Stanley Mountains, Papua New Guinea, belonging to the 46th Troop Carrier Squadron, 317th Troop Carrier Group. I would like if someone could please give me the serial number of this plane. One of the crew members is 1st Lt. Robert W. Wood. The plane was lost on 5/13/43. Thank You: John
