Does anyone know the story of the video that I saw today (Feb 26, 2016) on the Pacific Wrecks home page entitled "Trek to a B-24 Liberator - Papapua New Guinea"? Does anyone know the location of that plane or its serial #?
Thanks

Is the video you're referring to the one with the camera drone?
If so, I looked into it too. I thought it may have been one near Dobodura at Horanda 4Y by the looks of the area.
If the aircraft in the video and the entry are the same, then it could possibly be the B-24D "Career Girl", serial number 42-41234. The entry can be found here: http://www.pacificwrecks.com/aircraft/b ... 41234.html
Justin Taylan's photo from 2000 paired with the one from '74 seem to suggest that the aircraft is the same owing to the lean of the cockpit and the absence of the nose turret.
