Warbird Rides

Post by Funta » Sat Jun 17, 2017 7:58 pm

I'm not sure if it's totally relevant to this Forum, but as a break from 'academic' studies of WWII History, can I suggest active particpation in an experience or two of a lifetime? In the last 12 months, following my father's footsteps quite some time ago, I've been for back-seat rides in a CAC Wirraway in the Hunter Valley (NSW), and a P-40 Kittyhawk at Wangaratta (VIC). Highly recommended!! Quite a few years ago I went for a Tiger Moth flight at Duxford in the UK. The only one I'm now missing is a Wackett Trainer, but I don't think there's an airworthy example around...
