Hi Everybody

Does anybody know where I can find a complete (or semi-complete) listing of all WWII PTO Allied Fighter (& Bomber) bases?

I'm trying to put togeter a collection of placemarks for the Google earth Community.

Btw, this is a great site! My brother showed it to me a few months ago (Pacific Wrecks & the Bent Prop Project)

Thnks

G'day Longjohn,
Don't know if the map on my site is any help to you - it's more South West Pacific aerodromes but for what it's worth...

Most of the airfields in the Pacific can be found on the Pacific Wrecks website. If you go to maps, then choose the country and location it should give you details (and photos) of any airfields in that area.

There is also the Pacific War Airfields Project:

Do I need to contact the PacificWrecks.com people to ask permission to use their database for this project??
