Hi Skyraider3D:
I looked at it on Google Earth, and looks like Medan has close to 1mil people living there. I doubt this plane still exists as a wreck.

Yes there is a gentleman on the warbirdz website who's doing one.
http://www.warbirdz.com or http://www.warbirdz.net. Look under restorations, and give him a buzz.

I'm Planning a Trip
Hello Gents:
I am planning a trip to the South pacific area, and wondering if anyone knows a specific area where airfields were, or where aircraft are suspected to be found.
I would like to go to that area and report back, thanks!

About Mr. Chris
Hey Guys:
I've been around. I am currently restoring a Harvard Mk IV in Arizona. It is going well. I am also a Civil Engineer. I hope someday to recover an airplane from the Pacific area in the future.

hi_stik: I'm rebuilding a plane, and it's basically a learning curve. You can do it on your own hands on. Might I suggest you start with a light plane like a Piper Cub, and rebuild it to airworthy. Go to the local airport and find yourself a good IA mechanic, and get him to help you. Are you in Ariz...
