Saipan B-29 wreck

I stumbled upon a couple of wrecked radial engines and a wrecked large aircraft radio on Mt. Tapachau back in 2002. I wonder if it's the same wreck. I couldn't tell what kind of plane it used to be, but the radio unit looked like it was the kind operated by a dedicated operator.

Maybe we should organize a trip there? I've always wanted to go and I bet there are several others who are willing to take it as well. Any ideas?

I went to the Canal in '03 with the MEDAL OF HONOR development team. We took a 3 week trip to Guadalcanal, Singapore, Thailand and Pearl Harbor. I went along as the team's WWII historian/nerd.
