I do, never knew that any Hudsons had been converted to transports! Presume that this was a stop gap until more capable aircraft like the C-47 were available?

Does anyone know why there isn't the same fervor to recover vehicles such as tanks, trucks etc..? There is intense interest in recovering all aircraft regardless if they contain human remains or not. Yet there seem to be a lot of tracked vehicles rusting into the ground witih no one clamouring afte...

There are more wrecks that museums or individuals with the interest or capacity to store and/or restore them at the moment.
