Seymore Wechsler, 15098993 T42
Found by Papua New Guinean, wreck-tec, Wilkenson "Wilke" Egimbari. He takes photographs of WWII wreckage, for a friend of mine named John Douglas, who lives in Port Moresby. Wilke found this dog tag near Buna area of Popondetta (Oro Province), Papua New Guinea.

Search for Wechsler Successful
After looking up his name on the American Battle Monuments website, and found out that he was not an MIA or KIA from WWII, so probably, he dropped the dog tag during the war.

Pacific Wrecks did a search for "Wechsler" in the Cleveland area, where Seymore Wechsler's home address was during WWII. After a quick search of the white pages, Seymore's brother, Herbert Wechsler was able located, and confirmed that his brother, Seymore, had served in New Guinea as a ground crew with the US Army Air Force. He passed away three years ago at the age of 81.
