Location
Lat 10° 13' 37N Long 103° 58' 2E  Duong Dong Airfield is located at Duong Dong (Phu Guoc) on Phú Quốc (Phu Quoc Island) off the southwest coast of Vietnam. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of French Indochina (Indo-China, Indochine). Today, known as Phu Quoc Airport in Kiên Giang Province in Vietnam.

Construction
Built by the French during the 1930s.

Wartime History
Used by the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) during World War II.

Postwar
Known as Phu Quoc Airport, Vietnamese Sân bay Phú Quốc. At the start of the Vietnam War, the airfield had a 996m runway. After the fall of Saigon this airport continued to have commercial flights.

Today
During 1983 expanded to 1,496m and resurfaced plus a 148m taxiway was added and an apron added. During 1994-1995 a new passenger terminal was built. Airport codes: IATA: PQC, ICAO: VVPQ. Serviced by Vietnam Airlines.
