Luganville Seaplane Base was located in the Segond Channel off Luganville on the southern coast of Espiritu Santo and Aore Island.

The U. S. Navy (USN) built a seaplane ramp and tower were located at Belchif Point. Seaplanes took off and landed in Segond Channel.

Wartime History
During the Pacific War, used by the U. S. Navy (USN) seaplanes and flying boats.
