Lat 64° 50' 15N Long 147° 36' 52W Ladd Army Air Airfield is located to the east of Fairbanks in Alaska in the United States. Also known as Ladd Field. Located at an elevation of 454' above sea level.
Built by the U. S. Army as a cold weather test station. During October 1940, Douglas O-38F was the first aircraft to land at Ladd Field.
