Lat 58° 21' 18N Long 134° 34' 35W  Juneau Field is located seven miles northwest of Juneau in Alaska in the United States.

Built during 1941 as a civilian airport opened by July 1, 1941.

Wartime History
Used as a military refueling/servicing stop for aircraft flying between Washington State and Elmendorf Field during 1941 - 1945.

Still in use today as Juneau International Airport (Juneau Airport) as a regional airport. The single runway is oriented 26/08 measures 8,457' x 150' surfaced with asphalt. Airport codes: FAA: JNU / ICAO: PAJN / IATA: JNU. Serviced by Delta, Alaska Airlines, Wings of Alaska and SeaPort Airlines with flights.
