Latitude 18° 46' 18 Longitude 98° 57' 58" and 1,035' elevation. Located 4km southwest of Chiang Mai.

Wartime History
American Volunteer Group (AVG) "Flying Tigers" operated from this location.

The airport is still in use today, as Chiang Mai International Airport. Airport Code IATA / ICAO, 3,100 meters long and 45 meters wide surfaced with concrete.

During August 2000 US Army CILHI survey observed at least three P-40 wrecks in the vicinity of the airport.
