Attempted Salvage from Ballale

In December 2005 Japanese aircraft relics were moved to the beach area of Ballale by locals for export by Craig Turner / Solomon Islands Museum Project. Their removal was halted by locals until November 8, 2007 when Turner returned with buyer Greg Spooner and resumed the salvage.
