    Faleolo Airfield Upolu Island Samoa (Western Samoa)

Lat 13°49′47″S Long 172°00′30″W  Located 25 miles west of Apia on Upolu Island in Samoa (Western Samoa).

Built by US Navy SeaBees, as an extension of U.S. Naval Station Tutuila and the Samoa Defense Group Area to protect Upolu and Savai'i. Completed during July 1942 the main runway was 4,000' x 200' and later extended to 6,000' x 350' during March 1943 with taxiways, support buildings and two hangers.
