Location North Drome Airfield is located in the northern end of Kiriwina Island in the Trobriand Island Group (Trobriand Islands) in the Solomon Sea. Also known as Kiriwina North Drome or simply as the Crash Strip. To the east is Muiau Bay and to the south is Kiriwina Airfield (South Drome, Losuia) and beyond Losuia. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of Papua. Today located in Milne Bay Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Construction Built by the U.S. Army. the single runway was oriented roughly northwest to southeast with a taxiway and revetment areas on each side. Today Disused since the Pacific War. Contribute
