General MacArthur and staff salute at Zablan Airfield (Camp Murphy) during the induction of the Philippine Army Air Corps (PAAC) into the U.S. Army and incorporated into the Far East Air Force (FEAF)
In front of the MacArthur were Boeing P-26s and other PAAC aircraft. Standing behind him are (left to right) Lt. Col. Richard K. Sutherland, Col. Harold H. George, Lt. Col. William F. Marquat, and Maj. LeGrande A. Diller. Standing behind are rows of U.S. Army personnel and Filipinos.
Tony Feredo adds: "The hangar now is a basketball court but it was said that it was moved from its original location. I hope its still there up to now."
