Location San Manuel Airifeld was located to the west of San Manuel in Tarlac Province on Luzon the Philippines. To the west was the Manila-Dagupan Rail Road Line and Tarlac (Tarlac City). Construction Built during the war by the Japanese as a satellite airfield or forward airfield for the Clark Field area. Wartime History Used by the Japanese during the war. During the war, the Allies photographed a few Ki-49 and Ki-21 Sallys operating from this airfield, possibly as a forward operating base, or a dispersal location. Japanese units based at San Manuel Airfield 95th Sentai (Ki-49 Helen) possibly based here or utilized this airfireld During 1945, liberated by the U.S. Army with several wrecked Japanese aircraft in the vicinity.
