Location
14° 23' 29N 120° 36' 25E  Kindley Field is located at the eastern end of Corregidor Island. Also known as simply the Landing Strip. Today known as Corregidor Airport.

Construction
During the 1920s, built by the U. S. Army to allow aircraft to land on Corregidor Island. Named Kindley Field in honor of a U. S. Army Air Corps (USAAC) aviator.

Wartime History
On April 10, 1942 a Philippine Army Air Corps (PAAC) Stearman 76D3 biplane piloted by Jack Randolph took off from Kindley Field on a flight to Maramag Airfield on Mindanao.

Today
Still in use today as Corregidor Airport for use by light aircraft only at an elevation of 102' above sea level. Airport code: ICAO: RPLX.
