Location
Lat 7° 3' 53N Long 171° 16' 19E  Majuro Airport (New Airport) is located along the narrow arm on the southeast portion of Majuro Island (Laura) in the southeast of Majuro Atoll in the Marshall Islands. To the east is Majuro. Also known as "Marshall Islands International Airport" or "New Airport". During World War II, Majuro Airfield was located further to the east on Dalop Island.

Construction
Built postwar to create a larger runway to accomodate larger jet aircraft.

Today
Majuro Airport is designated as a small airport. Officially known as "Marshall Islands International Airport". Airport Codes: ICAO: PKMJ IATA: MAJ. The single runway is oriented 25/07 measures 7,897' x 150' surfaced with asphalt.
