Location
Marpi Point Airfield was located at Marpi Point on the northern end of the Saipan Island in the Southern Islands Municipality of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) in the United States of America (USA). To the north is Marpi Point (Cape Toro), to the south is Mount Marpi (Mt. Marpi) and to the southwest is Banadera.

Construction
Built by the Japanese as a fighter strip with a single runway oriented roughly NW to SE. By April 1944 the runways measured 3,850' x 180'.

American Usage
Occupied by American forces and repaired and expanded to 4,380' in length for use by U.S. aircraft until the end of the Pacific War.

American units based at Marpi Point
VMF 512 (F4U) October - December 1945 to San Diego

Today
The former airfield is abandoned and overgrown.

Japanese Memorial Services
Japanese relatives have burn the skeletal remains of Japanese war dead at this location in the 1980's and 1990's.
