Lat 26° 42' 33N Long 92° 47' 5E  Tezpur Airfield is located near Salonibari to the north of Tezpur in Assam State in northeastern India.

Construction
During 1942 built by the British.

Wartime History
Used by the U. S. Army Air Force (USAAF), 10th Air Force as a B-24 Liberator base for the 7th Bombardment Group.

Still in use today as a military/public airport. Also known as Tezpur Airport or Salonibari Airport for the nearby village. Airport codes: ICAO: VETZ / IATA: TEZ. The single runway is oriented 23/05 measures 9,010' x 150' surfaced with asphalt.
