Location
Lat 23° 38' 0" N Long 87° 21' 0" E. Located at Madhaiganj in West Bengal State in India. Located to the northwest of Calcutta. Also known as Madhaiganj Army Air Base.

Construction
Two concrete runways 6000 ft x 150 ft NNW/SSE, 4800 ft x 150 ft NE/SW. Elevation 250 ft above sea level. Service Facilities include a control tower; fuel & radio; beacon & flares on prior notice; windsock, signal square and hardstands.
