Location Lat 26° 43' 53 N Long 94° 10' 32E Jorhat Airfield is located at an elevation of 311' above sea level southwest of Jorhat in Assam State in northeast India. Wartime History During early 1943, used by U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF), 10th Air Force (10th AF) fighters and later bombers and reconassiance aircraft until early 1944. Today Still in use today as Jorhat Airport (Rowriah Airport) is located at Rowriah and is a dual civil and military airport. Airport codes: ICAO: VEJT IATA: JRH. The single runway is oriented 22/04 measures 9,000' x 150' surfaced with concrete.
