Location
Moen No. 2 Airfield (Moen 2) is located at the southern corner of Moen Island (Weno) adjacent to the Moen Seaplane Base in Truk Lagoon in Chuuk State (Truk) in the Federated States of Micronesia. Also known as "Moen Airfield No. 2", "Airfield No. 2" or "Moen 2".

Construction
Built by the Japanese following the February 17-18, 1944 "Operation Hailstone" air raid, this fighter airfield was built 225' from Moen Seaplane Base. The runway was built runway parallel to the seaplane base. Two coral surfaced runways were built on fill, and eventually extended to connect with the Moen Seaplane Base. The runways were each 190 ' x 3,250' when completed. The adjacent Mt. Teroken were tunneled with caves for storage.
