Lat 22° 58' 0" N Long 97° 45' 0" E  Lashio Airfield is located at an elevation of 2,450' above sea level two miles north of Lashio (Lasho) in Shan State in Myanmar (Burma).

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese April 30, 1942. During late October 1942 Japanese aircraft from Lashio flew missions against Dinjan in India.

American missions against Lashio Airfield
December 17, 1942 - February 26, 1945

Still in use today by flights from Myanma Airlines. The single runway is 5285' x 95' at 2,450' ASL with no fuel on site. Airport code: ICAO: VYLSAND IATA: LSH.
