Chittagong Airfield is located at Chittagong in the eastern corner Bangladesh (formally part of India) near the border with Burma on the shores of the Bay of Bengal. Also known as Chittagong Airbase.
On March 25, 1944 a force of five medium bombers escorted by 30 fighters attack Chittagong and Cox's Bazaar. Used by USAAF units during late 1944 into the middle of 1945.
