Lat 36° 24' 57S Long 146° 18' 25E  Wangaretta Airport is located south of Wangaratta.

Built during 1985 as a civil airport.

Wangaretta Airport is still in use today as a small airport. There are two runways, the first is oriented 27/09 measures 1,739' x 60' surfaced with grass. The second runway is oriented 36/18 measures 5,381' x 98' surfaced with asphalt. Airport codes: ICAO: YWGT IATA: WGT.

Air World, Drage Air World (Closed)
The Air World collection featured some very historic Pacific World War II aircraft. After closing many of these were sold or relocated when the museum closed on January 23, 2002.

After the closing of Air World, Precision Aerospace (Pacific Fighters Museum) moved into their hanger.
