Location Charleville Airfield was located at Charleville in Queensland in Australia. Construction Built prior to the war. Wartime History Used by the USAAF as a reception depot as early as March 1942. The 45th Air Base Group was based here, doing serving and repair duties. In July 1942 B-17F arrived at this airfield.
