Built by Grumman. US Navy (USN) Bureau Number 24462. No known nickname or noseart.

Wartime History
Arrived in New Zealand aboard Dalfonn. Assembled by No.1 Aircraft Depot at Hobsonville Airfield and assigned to the RNZAF on October 25, 1943 with Unit 36. Assigned to 30 Squadron, tail code J.

Ferried from New Zealand to Espiritu Santo on January 24, 1944 and based there during February to March 1944. Next ferried to Bougainville and operated from Piva North Airfield starting in March 1944.

On March 25, 1944, damaged by enemy gunfire and made an emergency landing at Green Island Airfield (Nissan). Remained there until repaired and then continued to operate from Bougainville.

Postwar, flown to Hobsonville Airfield. On September 7, 1945 assigned to the Royal Navy (RN), Fleet Air Arm. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
