Wreckage
In the early 1970s, pieces of wreckage with a SBD Dauntless Bureau Number were noted by Charles Darby at in a pile where they had been collected at Bonis Plantation, including the tail section and remains of the wings.

Charles Darby adds:
"The SBD-5 serial I read as BuNo 359(4?)? -- the last two being indecipherable. There was a 42 in small white figures below the 115 code. Wreckage consisted of the tail unit and remains of wings, which had red-outlined national markings."
