PB4Y-1 Liberator Losses

On February 14, 1943 two PB4Y-1 Liberators were lost on the mission. Although both crew lists are know, it is unclear which aircraft each crew was flying aboard, either PB4Y-1 Liberator 31948 or PB4Y-1 Liberator 31970. Thanks to Jim Sawruk for crew lists.

PB4Y-1 Liberator piloted by Bacon
The eleven crew members included Bacon, Kolazyk, Atkins, Barber, Betz, Henderson, North, Walker, Ward, Wells and Zattera
This aircraft was either PB4Y-1 Liberator 31948 or PB4Y-1 Liberator 31970.

PB4Y-1 Liberator piloted by Cooper
The eleven crew were Cooper, Elliott, Fowler, Abbott, Adams, Goldstein, Hussey, Montgomery, Nelson, Sauter and Sheek
This aircraft was either PB4Y-1 Liberator 31948 or PB4Y-1 Liberator 31970.
