Aircraft History
Built by Republic. Delivered to the U. S. Army, serial number unknown. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 348th Fighter Group, 341st Fighter Squadron "Black Jack". The tail was painted white with tail number 36 above the U. S. Army serial number.

Assigned to pilot 1st Lt. John S. Lolos and flown on combat missions during late 1943 until early 1944. Nicknamed "Naughty Nadine" in white block letters on the left nose cowling. At least three victory markings were painted on the left side of the fuselage below the cockpit.

Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
