Aircraft History
Built by Curtiss in Buffalo, New York. Constructor number 19944. Assigned U. S. Army Air Force (USAAF) as P-40E-1 Warhawk serial number 41-36111. Assigned Royal Air Force (RAF) serial number ET757. Disassembled and shipped overseas as part of defense aid.

Wartime History
Delivered to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) as Kittyhawk NZ3024. On May 23, 1942 reassembled by Unit 13 at Harewood Airfield. Afterwards, to 2 OTU based at Ohakea Airfield. Assigned code "XO-F". No known nickname or nose art.

On April 3, 1944 this P-40 took off from Ohakea Airfield piloted by Sergeant W. Hackshaw on formation training mission. During the flight, suffered a mid-air collision with P-40 NZ3010, pilot Hackshaw was unhurt and this P-40 landed successfully.

On April 14, 1944 written off at Ohakea Airfield and reduced to spare parts. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappeared.
