Aircraft History
Built by Curtiss in Buffalo, New York. Constructors Number 29713. Delivered to the U. S. Army. Disassembled and shipped to Australia and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force. Assigned to pilot Captain Carl L. Aubrey. Abandoned at Tadji Airfield.

Recovery
Recovered from Tadji in 1974 during the salvage operation funded by David Tallichet / Yesterday's Air Force (MARC).

Storage
The wings are still in New Zealand, and the fuselage stored in Barstow and later Chino Airport.
