Built by Bell in Buffalo, New York. Delivered to the U.S. Army. Disassembled and shipped overseas and reassembled.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 5th Air Force, unit unknown. No known nose art or nickname. Operated from New Guinea. Abandoned at Tadji Airfield.

Wreckage
This aircraft remained in situ until 1974.

Recovery
Recovered in 1974 during a salvage operation funded by David Tallichet / Yesterday's Air Force (MARC).

Restoration
Owned by David Tallichet, its restoration began in Tulsa, OK. Then, was moved to Chino in 1990, where restoration was completed. Registered as N81575, it became airworthy in 2002. Displayed at Yanks Air Museum.
