Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank, California. Constructor Number 8087. At the factory, converted from an L-5-LO model to a F-5G-6-LO photographic reconnaissance model. One of 63 L-5 models converted to a photographic reconnaissance version. Delivered to the U. S. Army.

Postwar
After the war, it was stored at Kingman Airfield in Arizona as of February 21, 1946.

Acquired by Russell C. Reeves, Tulsa, OK on April 8, 1946 for $1,250. Next owned by Raymond H. Miller of Tulsa, OK and Wentachee, WA from 1946-1948 and registered as NX75551 on January 9, 1947.

Next registered as N502MH with Mark Hurd (Mark Hurd Mapping Co and Mark Hurd Aerial Surveys) in Minneapolis, MN from 1948-1968.

Stored 1968-1994, then acquired by Bruce Pruitt who reregistered it NL2114L as a long term restoration project.

Next, acquired by Jack A. Erickson of Medford, OR, 1994-1995. Then Past Times Antiques, March 1995.

Restoration
In 1995, aquired by the Tillamook Air Museum. Restored to flying condition at Medford, Oregon and made its first flight during September 1996. Painted in the markings of P-38L "Tangerine" 44-27083. Displayed at the Tillamook Air Museum.
