Assigned to the 5th Air Force, 475th Fighter Group, 433rd Fighter Squadron. No known nickname or nose art.

Wartime History
On November 2, 1943 took off from Kiriwina Airfield piloted by Lt. James H. Palmer on a mission to escort B-25 Mitchells over Rabaul. Returning, ths P-38 belly landed at Kiriwina Airfied. Afterwards, this aircraft was written off.
