On the morning of December 7, 1941 this aircraft was rented by Ron Vitousek and his son Martin Vitousek.
The two were returning form a sight seeing trip over Molokai, when Japanese
aircraft attacked Pearl Harbor and Oahu. They were spotted and fired on, but managed
to escape without serious damage.
Restoration & Dispaly
Restored by Kapiolani Community College Students, this
aircraft is displayed on the dock at the USS
Missouri Memorial Museum at Pearl Harbor.
