Aircraft History
Built by Kawasaki. Assigned to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF).

Wartime History
Operated in China. At the end of the war, this bomber was captured by Chinese forces and pressed into service. Painted in the markings of the Red Army of China Air Force that operated in Manchuria in 1945 and were folded into the People's Liberation Army Air Force during 1949.

Display
This aircraft is a partial replica, but is the only restored Ki-48 on display in the world. Displayed at the China Aviation Museum.
