Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi. Manufacture number unknown. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 100 Command Reconnaissance Aircraft Shinshitei / Ki-46-II Dinah manufacture number unknown.

Wartime History
Assigned to the 70th Dokuritsu Dai Shijugo Chutai (70th Independent Command Squadron). Painted overall gray. The tail had the squadron motif of a reverse  "S" in white denoting a river.

Mission History
On March 7, 1943 took off piloted by Lt. Yutaka Tonoi with observer Lt. Chokiti Orihara on a reconnaissance mission over Darwin. Crashed into the sea off Bathurst Island.
