Aircraft History
Built by Mitsubishi at the Oe-machi plant during late October 1942. Assigned to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) to the 76th Dokuritsu Dai Chutai (Independent Squadron). Painted overall gray with sumire (violet) markings on tail and air signals emblem on the tail.

Wartime History
This aircraft was abandoned at Lae Airfield. During late September 1943 1943 captured by the Australian Army. When captured, this aircraft was an intact fuselage. Afterwards, moved into a boneyard area with other captured Japanese aircraft. Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped.
