Built by Nakajima. Delivered to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF) as Type 1 Fighter / Ki-43 Oscar manufacture number unknown. Assigned to the 59th Sentai. No known markings or tail code.

Mission History
On January 23, 1944 took off from Dagua Airfield piloted by Captain Shigeo Nongo on a mission to intercept U. S. fighters over Wewak. During the interception, this Oscar likely shot down P-40N piloted by Crowley. Moments later, it was shot down by P-40N Warhawk piloted by Robert DeHaven from the 49th FG, 7th FS.
