Aircraft History
Built by Nakajima at Ota during late November 1942. Uncoded serial number 676. Assigned to the Japanese Army Air Force (JAAF). Assigned to the 1st Sentai. Armed with two 7.7mm machine guns. Painted in light blue upper surfaces and unpainted underneath. Rudder and elevator were painted red. Tail markings included two horizontal white stripes.

Wartime History
Disabled during early September 1943 at Cape Gloucester Airfield and abandoned in the kunai grass. When abandoned, engine serial number 4470 manufactured August 1942.

Wreckage
On December 30, 1943 captured by American forces. Later, investigated by Allied Technical Intelligence Service (ATIS) for intelligence, who reported the aircraft to be in fair condition and noted the manufacture number and engine serial number.
