Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed as an RA-29. Constructor Number 6359. Assigned U. S. Army serial number 41-23542. Royal Air Force (RAF) serial numbers BW680. Shipped overseas as part of defense aid consignment.

Wartime History
On April 5, 1942 assigned to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) to 2 Air Depot (2 AD) at Richmond. Assigned to the 6 Squadron on April 6, 1942 and arrived at Garbutt Field. Next assigned to 32 Squadron on May 11, 1942.

On May 24, 1942 took off form Rockhampton Airfield with Hudson A16-191 on a flight bound for Garbutt Field near Townsville. During the flight at 2,000', collided with Hudson A16-191 over Giru, Queensland. Hudson A16-191 crashed into a mangrove swamp killing everyone aboard. This aircraft managed to regain control before it crashed and only two crew members received minor injuries.

Ultimate fate unknown, likely scrapped or otherwise disappear.
