Aircraft History Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 6034. Delivered to the USAAF on September 13, 1942 as A-28-LO serial number 41-23175. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia. Wartime History On December 5, 1941 delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Hudson Mark IVa serial number A16-105. Assigned to 1 Operational Training Unit (1 OTU). No known nickname or nose art. This Hudson was used as a transport in New Guinea. Post War On November 19, 1945 this Hudson was placed into storage. Used by a number of civilian operators and registered as VH-FXF. Owned by Malcolm Long and displayed at Air World. On January 23, 2001 moved to Australian War Memorial and placed into storage.
