Aircraft History Built by Sikorsky as XR-5. Manufacture number SS-34. Constructors number 37. This XR-5 was aquired by the National Air & Space Museum (NASM). This helicopter is stored at the NASM Garber Facility. Future plans call for it to be displayed at the NASM Udvar-Hazy Center. References NASM Collections - Sikorsky XR-5 Russell Lee adds: "It was never used in a civilian capacity so no N# assigned.
