Meeting between the Nisi family and and Iwashita family in Massachusetts
Ens Alberto C. Nisi was shot down piloting F6F Hellcat 43041 over Iwo Jima on July 4, 1944. (Center) Kunio Iwashita was a A6M5 Zero pilot who claimed a Hellcat shot down that day. Present are Nisi's widow (holding cane), son Terrence and grandson (holding framed medals), Mr. Iwashita and his wife and daughter.
