D.F.C. and Air Medal Given Posthumously to Lt. J. F. McGrath
"Mrs. Mary R. McGrath of 2171 Fourteenth Street, today received the medals for posthumous awards made to her son, the late Second Lieutenant John Francis McGrath, Marine flier, who was killed in action July 21, 1945 while serving as a fighter pilot with Marine Fighter Squadron 212."
