Howard D. McAlonie Catholic Central High School (CCHS) class of 1941
During World War II, enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served with the 133rd Naval Construction Battalion “SeaBees" on Iwo Jima.
His Catholicon Yearbook 1941 page 71 inscription reads:
"Howard D. McAlonie
College Entrance
St. Peter's, Troy
He's friendly, good-natured,
And full of cheer;
He's brought us fun
Through all the year."
